Crispy Salt & Pepper Chicken (400g)

Free range | Gluten free

Juicy chicken fillet, coated in a light and crispy gluten free batter

Ultimate street food of Taiwan.


Complimentary spice packet included, lightly sprinkle on top to finish the dish

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS (guidelines only)
For best results, defrost 30min before cooking.
Grill (15min)
1.Turn the oven on grill setting
2.Line the baking tray with baking paper or foil
3.Remove plastic packet and empty the bag onto the baking tray
4.Grill for 15 minutes or until golden brown in colour (give it a toss half way through)
5.Serve with a light sprinkle of the complimentary spice packet (to taste) over the chicken.


Air fry (7min)
1.Remove plastic bag and place the chicken in the air fryer
2.180 degrees for 7min or until golden brown in colour
3. Serve with a light sprinkle of th complimentary spice packet (to taste) over the chicken.

Lightly sprinkle complimentary spice packet over chicken for an authentic experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do you have a physical store

Yes we do in Salt River, Cape Town. Feel free to come in and browse and chat to one of our friendly staff if you need help with cooking or choosing the right flavour dumpling for you. 

 

2. Are you available nationwide? 

Home Bao's kitchen is in Cape Town. We now have stockist in Western Cape, KZN and Gauteng. Please check our stockist page to find a store closest to you.

3. How long can I keep the dumplings in my freezer? 

Just because our dumplings are frozen, doesn't mean that they are any less fresh or healthy. We suggest you eat them within 4 weeks (if you can resist them for that long!). Shelf life of 6 months from date of production.

4. Do I need to defrost my dumplings? 

Frozen dumplings have to be cooked from frozen. They should go straight from the freezer to the pan or pot. 

​​

5. Do you cater for events and special occasions?

Yes, but we need a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. 

​​

6. Do the dumplings contain any allergens? 

Potential allergens are dairy, gluten, nuts, soya, egg, crustaceans and fish.
